Currently, the Mutual companies offer a 7% household discount for anyone who lives with another member and both are insured.  Starting in 2015, Mutual is increasing its household discount to 12% with the requirement that the client lives with up to three other individuals who are age 60 or older during the past 12 months.  Some states, like Missouri, Ohio and Pennsylvania, will have the traditional definition for the household discount (other state special conditions may apply).  AL, CT, DC, FL, HI, KS, MN, NY RI and VT will not be offering a household discount at this time.
